J Kardys Strategies, LLC (JKS) is a full-service strategic planning, change management and operational implementation firm serving the parks, recreation and nonprofit public space profession around the country. We are one stop for all thing’s parks. The belief that “Every Great Community has a Great Park System” drives our vision for healthy, happy, prosperous, and resilient communities. Developing actionable strategies, and an organization’s capacity for sustained and disciplined execution are the hallmarks of a great park agency. JKS’ decades of professional experience in planning, developing, operating, and managing resilient, top-tier park systems makes us the trusted partner for results-oriented organizations.

Our Approach

JKS’ collaborative work is guided by the words of Henry Miller: “No man is great enough or wise enough for any of us to surrender our destiny to. The only way in which anyone can lead us is to restore to us the belief in our own guidance.” To that end, we empower organizations to:
-
Collaboratively define community vision for model park systems.
-
Develop a park-centric, public realm framework of shared values and best practices.
-
Build organizational capacity and high-performance teams that ensure results.
-
Build competitive advantage for park and public/private service providers.
-
Provide project management, governmental affairs, and referendum campaign support services to guarantee outcomes.
